When I decided to become a teacher, I wanted to be the teacher that I never had…and to serve my students in a way that my teachers were unable or unwilling to do for me. I vowed to serve my students in a way that wasn’t given to me. I understand that every student has different needs and there is no “cookie cutter” method that works for all of them. It is with this philosophy that I get up each morning and do my job to the best of my abilities.

We had our challenges this past year, but I hope you are ready to learn...because I am ready to teach! Since we have transitioning back to a F2F format, I will let you know how we will need to get through this year successfully.

My class will prove to be a fun and exciting setting for your learning environment. However, we need access to the following tools/resources:

• GoogleMeet - Unless otherwise indicated...all "live" meetings will be through GoogleMeet. (Click on the "Classrooms" Tab at the top of this page).

• Google Classroom - All digital assignments are turned in through Google Classroom. (Click on the "Classrooms" Tab at the top of this page).

• i-Ready - Periodically, we will be working in the i-Ready platform.

• Khan Academy - some assignments will be assigned through Khan Academy.

• Quizizz - is a fun and interactive way to learn and to assess your progress.

In addition to Independent Practice...I will incorporate fun activities, projects, games, and videos, and new techniques to problem solving...
