Meet mrs. Thomas

Hello! My name is Mrs. Thomas and I am a kindergarten teacher at Hilltop.  This will be my 14th year of teaching and my 12th year at Hilltop. In 2012, I graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also earned my Reading Endorsement for grades K-12. In 2020, I graduated with my Masters Degree in Literacy from The American College of Education. In 2022, I completed LETRS training. During those 2 years of training, I learned best practices and strategies for helping our earliest readers with the skills they need to be successful readers. 

    In July of 2012, I married my high school sweetheart Jeremy. Jeremy is a graduate of Kent State University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Jeremy is the Director of Nursing in a long term care facility. Our son Palmer is 7 and is a huge fan of WWE Wrestling, Godzilla and fun adventures.
