Beg ELD LA - A

Beginning ELD LA is a course for students at the beginning proficiency levels in the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA). It is a two trimester course (A and B). It is taught around the Common Core State Standards for Language Arts. Reading, writing are the priority, but students will practice listening and speaking as well. Students will engage in self-selected silent reading and will read fiction, poetry and non-fiction with the class.
