Canadian Geographic Olympiad

Welcome to the Canadian Geographic Olympiad (GeoOlympiad). This competition will feed into the International Geography Olympiad, an annual worldwide competition for 16 to 19-year-old geography students. These Olympiads will test each student’s knowledge and understanding of geographic skills and concepts. Team Canada members will be given the opportunity to work individually and as a group to discover the diversity and power of geography. They will experience firsthand how to better understand the world through a geographic lens and learn about the important role that they can play in effecting positive change in their world.

For the first time ever, four students will be selected through the Canadian GeoOlympiad to represent Canada at the International Geography Olympiad in Quebec City, QC, in August, 2018. These students will showcase their talents to the world in an exciting four-day competition.
