Lindsey Denis

My name is Lindsay Denis. I am a mother to two boys, a retired military wife, and a fur-mom to our three year old Portuguese Water Dog. I graduated from STFX University in 2001 with my BScNRN. I began my career at the QEII Health Sciences Center (Halifax) in Orthopedics then moved to Emergency where I spent majority of my career. I joined the team at the Medical Examiner’s Service in 2015 as a casual employee and eventually worked my way up to my most recent position as Manager of Investigations. Currently, I manage a team of 14 investigators (combination of RN’s and CCP’s). I’m excited to be a member the CFNA and share my knowledge of death investigation in Nova Scotia. 

Je m’appelle Lindsay Denis. Je suis mère de deux garçons, anciennement une femme militaire (maintenant à la retraite) et une mère à fourrure de notre chien d’eau portugais de trois ans. J’ai obtenu mon BScNRN de l’Université STFX en 2001. J’ai commencé ma carrière au QEII Health Sciences Center (Halifax) en orthopédie, puis j’ai déménagé à l’urgence où j’ai passé la majeure partie de ma carrière. Je me suis jointe à l’équipe du Medical Examiner’s Service en 2015 en tant qu’employée occasionnelle et j’ai finalement gravi les échelons jusqu’à mon poste le plus récent de gestionnaire des enquêtes. Actuellement, je gère une équipe de 14 chercheurs (combinaison d’infirmières et de CCP). Je suis ravie d’être membre de CFNA et de partager mes connaissances sur les enquêtes sur les décès en Nouvelle-Écosse.
