Stewart MacLennan, PhD NP

Stewart MacLennan, PhD NP, is an associate professor (teaching) in the Faculty of Nursing and adjunct associate professor at the John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta. Dr. MacLennan’s research focuses on ethics and pain in correctional settings. He established the nurse practitioner role in Alberta Health Service (Correctional Health Division) and continues to practice as a Nurse Practitioner at the Edmonton Remand Center, Canada’s largest correctional institution.
