Heather Sotelo, RN, BScN, SANE-A

A forensic examiner since 2017, Heather is one of three provincial coordinators for the Saskatchewan Health Authority's Provincial Sexual Assault Forensic Nursing Program. With a strong background in forensic nursing and a commitment to trauma-informed care, Heather supports the development, education, and coordination of forensic nursing services across Saskatchewan. As a SANE, Heather has been certified as an expert witness in court with a particular focus on forensic evidence collection and injury identification.
