Dr. Bryce Stoliker holds a PhD in Criminology and is a Research Officer at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Justice Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Stoliker has been involved in various research and evaluation projects tasked with assessing criminal justice processes, as well as examining programs and services for justice-involved individuals. His research primarily focuses on correctional populations, particularly the needs of people in custody living with mental health issues. His work in this area has also focused on the physical and mental health needs of the aging correctional population, among other priority areas (e.g., suicide and self-harm). Dr. Stoliker was the lead author on a paper published regarding the results of Phase 1 of this research (Older people in custody in a forensic psychiatric facility, prevalence of dementia, and community \reintegration needs: An exploratory analysis). In Phase 2, Dr. Stoliker was a co-facilitator on the project, assisting with participant recruitment, student training, data collection and analysis, and report writing.
