Adrienne Olszewski is a seasoned forensic nurse and educator with a Master of Nursing from Athabasca University and over 20 years of leadership in emergency and forensic care. A certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-A/P), she has delivered trauma-informed care across the lifespan and created nationally accredited training for forensic examiners. Currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Adrienne is focused on implementing the SHASTA protocol to standardize responses to non-fatal strangulation and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration. She also leads national efforts to advance forensic nursing practice and establish role clarity in Canada.
