Family/Student Supports

Welcome to IB Thrive: Campus International's Online Gateway to IB Learning

We know that what you need to thrive in the International Baccalaureate program goes far beyond what is typically expected of a high school student, and we are well aware of how challenging it is to continue engaging at that level as we start classes online for the 2020-21 school year due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. Our goal at CIHS is to give you the educational experience that you have come to expect and value from our program and make sure that you are feeling healthy enough to engage with it.

Social / Emotional Health

Being a teenager is stressful enough, but having to process the tumult and chaos of the historical challenge that is facing the world today due to the COVID-19 pandemic multiplies that stress tenfold. Our staff at CIHS wants to make sure that our students and families have the tools and the support they need to meet this moment and surmount the social/emotional challenges that it presents. Please download the MindShift (iOS, Android) App and join our guidance counselor, Dr. Mia Flowers, as she presents opportunities to virtually connect with her and with each other to make sure we all feel supported and know that we can make it through this moment.

Are you a parent or student and need help to be successful during our time online? This page will help you find the answers to your questions and help you find the experts on our faculty to help you! You can also click here for more information about our AWESOME Say Yes! To Education Program! If you need any help, please fill out our SEL Support Form. Mr. Holt and Dr. Flowers will be with you shortly.

Academic Instruction

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District has released its reopening plan for the 2020-21 school year and will include 9 weeks of online virtual study. These guidelines can be found here. Academic Instruction will continue at Campus International through our established online learning through Google Classroom and Zoom virtual meetings. We remain committed to supporting students in meeting the rigorous expectations of the IB program and ensuring that students are prepared to be competitive applicants and successful students for and at the universities of their dreams! CIHS teachers are hard at work adapting instruction to move online! We hope that our students will take the opportunity to adapt as well and learn how to maximize online learning experiences!
