I spent the first 13 years in Galanesti - Romania, before moving to Piedmont - Italy. I studied at the University of Turin, where I developed a deep passion for econometrics and social sciences obtaining a master's degree in STEM. During my university years, I worked as a Jr. Research Assistant at Collegio Carlo Alberto and the University of Turin, focusing on poverty, inclusion, and household economics.
I then decided to pursue a PhD in Economics and Statistics at the University of Milan-Bicocca, concentrating on the effects of air pollution exposure on hospitalisations and mortality in Italy and Europe. As part of my research, I completed a visiting period at VATT, an expert organisation in applied economics research within the administrative branch of the Finnish Ministry of Finance, where I collaborated with the Environment & Energy group.
Currently, I am a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Padua and ARERA, studying the mechanisms for activating energy subsidies. Additionally, I work as a Research Assistant at OIPE, focusing on energy poverty.
