Good News: Producer (2)
Our Good News show will consist of news packages highlighting all of the wonderful things happening here at Campbell and in our community. From student accomplishments, to changes that will affect students teachers and staff. The good news team will also survey students each week to ask them "What good things happened to/for you this week?".
The Good News producer should have a passion for spreading positivity. They must have excellent communication skills, a connection with the student body as a whole, keep up with current events and be willing to get out and talk to a diverse group of students in order to find the "Good Stories".
- Find and pitch stories for weekly segments
- Write news package scripts.
- Schedule interviews
- Lead the Good News Crew in the production and post production of Good News Packages.
- Fill in for crew members (Videographer/editor) when needed.
Good News: Editor
The video editor must submit a portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities. Must be proficient with Premiere Pro, understand the news editing workflow, and have great communication skills.
- Assist with production to ensure all appropriate/ necessary content is capture.
- Edit video projects that tell compelling visual stories
- Maintain appropriate file structure.
- Export and turn in final videos.
- Chose appropriate music, SFX, and sound bytes
- Implement creative decision making
- Collaborate with team members
Good News Videographer
Good new videographers must be creative, disciplined, and able to consistently capture great content. They must have great camera operating skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
- Assist with production to ensure all appropriate/ necessary content is capture.
- Edit video projects that tell compelling visual stories
- Maintain appropriate file structure.
- Export and turn in final videos.
- Chose appropriate music, SFX, and sound bytes
- Implement creative decision making
- Collaborate with team members
