Examples of how the Scout moves:
The Scout can capture the Rook on c7 by moving one square diagonally and then two squares orthogonally. Since the Scout can't leap, it is unable to capture the Bishop.
The Scout can capture the Queen on g5 by moving two squares orthogonally and then one square diagonally. The Scout is unable to capture the Knight.
The Scout can capture the Pawn on e5 by moving both ways.
