What is a browser? What are the differences between a browser and a search engine?
A browser is an application that converts the code of web pages (for example, you can see part of the code of this web page if you press Ctrl+U) into text and images in a format we are used to. For example, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera are some well-known browsers.
A search engine, on the other hand, is a web page itself and is used to search for other web pages that contain one (or multiple) keywords. Some well-known examples are Google Search, Microsoft Bing, or Yahoo!.
You can change this in the browser settings, under the Search engine tab. There you can choose among the available options (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, etc.) or add a new one.
Go to Settings > Language. Add the language you want and set it as preferred. You may need to restart the browser for the changes to take effect.
Unfortunately, we still haven't found a way to avoid the websites' petitions to accept their cookies. What our browser does avoid, however, is other sites' acess to these cookies.
We recommend you to reject all the cookies you can (the Consent-O-Matic extension can be a good ally), but our browser should keep you save anyway.
As Nebula is not a program by Google, you can't automatically translate web pages without extensions.
If you want to translate a web page, you can install the following extension (by clicking "Add to Chrome"): Translator
To view the translation you have to right-click the web you want to translate and then, inside the menu, choose, "Translate this page". It could take a while.
When a site asks to send notifications, you can allow or block them. Later, you can manage these permissions in Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Notifications.
