Computer Science Revision
I have created this central revision page - which will have all the relevant things to help you revise for your Computer Science Exam!
Please remember there is also all the PowerPoint presentations on our google classroom that you can refer to also.
Remember there are 2 papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2, each consist of an hour and a half and each are worth 50% towards your final overall grade.
We completed a Checklist for Paper 1 and Paper 2 where you red, amber and green your own knowledge on each topic. Remember you need to prioritise the red areas!
Paper 1: Computer systems
Introduces students to the central processing unit (CPU), computer memory and storage, data representation, wired and wireless networks, network topologies, system security and system software. It also looks at ethical, legal, cultural and environmental concerns associated with computer science.
Paper 2: Computational thinking, algorithms and programming
Students apply knowledge and understanding gained in component 01. They develop skills and understanding in computational thinking: algorithms, programming techniques, producing robust programs, computational logic and translators.
