The Calico Rock High School EAST program was named a 2023 Program of Influence by the EAST Initiative! This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of the EAST Facilitators, Administrators, and Students involved in the program. Through commitment to learning, collaborating, and utilizing technology the EAST program is positively impacting the community. This achievement highlights the program’s success in submitting all necessary documents and ensuring that students have completed their EAST trainings. 

Maegan James is recognized for her outstanding leadership and drive in the East program. Maegan is currently leading various projects in EAST.  She is a valued member of our EAST team because she is a creative thinker that leads other students and teaches various skills throughout the program. Here she can be seen working on creating a 3D printed sensory pad for patients that need motor skill therapy.  Maegan possesses a variety of skills from videoing events, creating 3D printed items, fixing school laptops, and contributing to project developments.
