Dr. Richard Griffin, Principal

I am very excited to be joining the Warrior family as the new Principal of West Caldwell High School. I am a Columbia, South Carolina native and am entering my 28th year in public education. I am entering my 13th year as a high school principal. I earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of South Carolina in 1995. I earned a Masters of Arts degrees in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1999. I earned a Doctorate of Education degree from The University of North Carolina Charlotte in 2014. I love spending time with my family and attending sporting events.

Amy Brawley, Assistant Principal

I am excited to be with the Warrior family again this year! I am a Caldwell County native. In 2007, I graduated from Montreat College with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education degree. My teaching career began at Kings Creek in that same year. I earned my Masters in Middle Grades Mathematics from Western Carolina University as well as completing the program to earn my Administrative license. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling. I am looking forward to continuing this journey and can not wait to be part of all the great things that West Caldwell has to offer.

Dawn Henline, Assistant Principal

I am excited to continue my 3rd year as a part of the WARRIOR family! I am a native of Caldwell County and attended Appalachian State where I received a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, a Certificate in Education, and a Master's degree in School Administration. I taught Math and Business at Freedom High School for two years before moving to Cape Coral, FL where I taught fourth grade for eight years. Upon returning to NC, I taught 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies at Gamewell Middle for five years and then served as the Middle Grades Social Studies Instructional Facilitator for CCS for five years. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, Dean, two daughters, Ashtyn and Kendal, son, Jerry, my new granddaughter, Arden, and our canines, Presley and Tucker. I am a PROUD member of this community and enjoy serving at West Caldwell.

Dr. Jason Attig, Assistant Principal

I am incredibly thankful and honored to be a part of West Caldwell High School. I have been in education for several years and look forward to a great school year as a Warrior! I attended the University of Georgia, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and most recently, Liberty University, where I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and learning new things. I am blessed to have the opportunity to be part of the Caldwell community.
