Welcome to Cadott Elementary School

I am Mrs. Olson

A little about me...

I've been an educator for three decades, starting out as an Early Childhood Special Education and 4K teacher for Black River Falls, Stanley-Boyd, and Eau Claire Schools.  I switched roles and became Eau Claire's Coordinator of Early Childhood Special Education.  I am thrilled to be in my 7th year as Principal here in Cadott!  In addition, I am the mom of two grown sons and as an empty nester spend lots of time outdoors with my dog Fitz; hiking, running, and walking.

I wish you well!

Mrs. Olson

Dean of Students

 Mr. Spaeth

spaethj@cadott.k12.wi.us

I graduated from Cadott High School in 1997 and started my educational career in Cadott in 2006 as the 9th grade physical science teacher. I also taught junior high science before taking the Dean of Students position at the Elementary School. I am entering my third year as the Dean of students.

I am excited for the school year and I’m very fortunate to be able to work with every student in the elementary to help them reach their full potential.

My wife Amy and I have five children: Morgan, Brady, Sydney, Avery, and Harper. We live on a farm South of Cadott where we raise registered polled herefords, corn, soybeans, and hay.

Hello!

My name is Allison Boos and this is my first year as Family Engagement Coordinator for Cadott Elementary. I am looking forward to spending time with you and your children this school year! It is my goal to help foster an environment where our school, families and community work together to help ensure the growth and success of our students!

My husband and I attended Cadott Schools and grew up in this community. We are currently raising two young boys who are also attending school at Cadott Elementary. We enjoy attending sporting events during the school year, but our favorite thing to do is camp and ride our SXS. We enjoy country living and take pleasure in the quietness of our yard on summer nights.

I am so excited to get started on another school year and can’t wait to see what we can all accomplish together!

Hello!

I am Deb Delyea and I am the Special Education and Pupil Services Director for the Cadott Community School District. This is my 1st year in Cadott and I am excited to be part of the many wonderful things happening here. Have been a director for the past 7 years in several rural school districts in the area through CESA 10 and in the Owen-Withee School district for 2 of those years. Before I went into administration I taught Special Education in the Chippewa Falls School District for 14 years. My husband and I have 4 adult children and a spoiled dog. In my free time I enjoy spending my time boating, camping, and traveling to new places with friends and family.

I wish all of you a great school year!

Hello! My name is Jessica Hager and I am the School Nurse and 504 Coordinator for Cadott Community

Schools. I am entering my 6 th year as the school nurse. I love our community and all of the students I get

to work with! It is my job to help take care of and advocate for children’s physical and mental health.

I have four children that attend the Cadott Schools ranging from 4K to 7 th grade. We love attending

Cadott Sporting events, playing sports, going for walks, swimming, boating and reading. I also enjoy the

occasional nap! I always tell kids it is important to get enough sleep!

I am so excited to see all of you September 1 st for our 1 st Day of School! I know that this year will look a

little different than it has in past years. We may be wearing masks during certain times, we may be

playing in different areas of the playground, we may get to eat lunch in the gym or our classroom and

you will hear A LOT about handwashing and ways we can stay healthy.

It is my belief that we need to take care of the whole child. Which means I care about their physical and

mental health. I want to encourage them to make healthy choices (Physical activity, healthy eating, hand

washing, not touching our face (eyes, nose and mouth). I also know that EVERY child is different. I

believe firmly that what works for one child may not work for another and we need to make sure that

we provide care for that child as an individual.

I want families to be aware that they can come to me if there are health concerns about their child. I will

advocate for your children so that they have what they need to be healthy in school. I love the saying

“Healthy Children Learn Better”.

I will be sharing a lot of information and resources as we start school, but I would say the number one

take home message I would like every family to get is that we should not be sending our students to

school if they are not feeling well. We will be asking families to check their kids before they go to school.
