The Wexford Adolescent Wellness Center is now offering sports physicals for the 2022-2023 athletic year. If you schedule and complete your sports physical by June 10, 2022, you will be entered into a drawing to win an Amazon gift card! AND every completed physical will receive a free gift card to a local business or restaurant. Time slots are limited, and appointments are required, so stop by the wellness center or call to schedule an appointment!
Old News (prior to 5/23/2022)
Tuesday 5/24: Last Full day for Seniors.
Wednesday 5/25: 1st-3rd hour for all seniors, 4th and 5th hour for seniors that need to take 4th and 5th hour exams.
Thursday 5/26: 1st-3rd hour for seniors that need to take 1st-3rd hour exams.
June 2nd: Outdoor graduation practice from 9-12 am at the football field.
June 3rd: Indoor graduation practice - 10:30 am, performance gym (weather permitting this will become an outdoor practice)
June 5th: Commencement - 2 pm. Attire: dress nice, game day/church.
Shoreline is currently the 9th ranked seed in the world and 1st in Michigan! Watch their performance from the Grand Rapids Barbershop Competition.

Senior exam policy: Seniors with a grade of B- and four (4) or fewer absences for final trimester of their senior year will not be required to take the final exam for that subject. School-related absences and absences due to a death in the immediate family will not be counted in this total and are not calculated in this exam exemption. Suspension (out-of-school as well as in-school) days will be counted in the total when determining exam exemption. A senior who does not have to take the exam may do so to try to better his/her grade.
Hats, hoods and midriff shirts should NOT be worn while in the high school.
There are various counseling services available on Cadillac High School's campus.
There are still many yearbooks purchased last year that have not been picked up yet. Students, please see Ms. Cieslak 3rd hour in room 413 to get your copy. Also, we are selling extra 2020-21 yearbooks for $50.00.
Seniors: Please submit your senior pictures for Yearbook to Ms. Cieslak at cadillac.yearbook@gmail.com
NHS tutoring will be offered Mondays after school from 2:50 - 3:50 pm and Thursday mornings 7 - 7:40 am in the library.
COVID-19 testing is available (by appointment only) at the Wexford Adolescent Wellness Center for students. To qualify students must have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or new loss of sense of taste/smell) or must have been identified as a close contact of a known COVID-19 case.
Dress Code Reminder: Make sure we are dressing in an appropriate manner for school. Crop tops and hats are not allowed in the building.

May 25 - 4th / 5th hour exams (Last day for seniors who do not have to take exams)
May 26 - 1st, 2nd, & 3rd hour exams. Picnic Lunch / Field day following dismissal at the stadium.
June 2 - Outdoor graduation practice - 9-12 am (football field)
June 3 - Senior breakfast - 8 am (performance gym). Indoor graduation practice - 10:30 am (performance gym)
June 5 - Commencement - 2 pm (Indoor: meet by aux gym. Outdoor: meet at assigned side of stadium at 1pm)

Scholarship Information
It is scholarship season! Students should check the Local Scholarship Database regularly to stay up-to-date with available scholarships.
Below are some of the recent scholarship applications that have been received by the CHS Counseling Office, for a full list, see the Local Scholarship Database link above.
Up North Arts Scholarship for the Arts for any graduating senior planning to major or minor in dance, literature, music, theater, or visual arts. The deadline is June 1st!
Juniors & Seniors!
College & Military Representative Visits at CHS: We are scheduling college and military representative visits at CHS for this fall. To see scheduled visits check here or on the counseling page of the school website. Visits will continuously be added, so check back often. Juniors and seniors can sign up for up to four college and military rep presentations by completing the sign up form 24 hours in advance. Students should let their teachers know that they will be attending these visits a day in advance. If you have questions, or need assistance, please let your counselor know.
College Visits: Each Junior will be allowed two (2) college visitation days; each senior will be allowed three (3) college visitation days. These days will be excused as school activities/college days provided the student meets with his/her counselor to have the visit pre-approved. The student must have all forms filled out completely. Also, there must be written verification from the college at the completion of the visit. This verification must be submitted to the attendance secretary within three (3) school days or the absence will be unexcused.

Wexford Adolescent Wellness Center is open (NEW LOCATION)! (Located across from the HS at the Annex), open for medical and mental health services for students ages 10 and older. Appointments are necessary. All insurances are accepted, as well as the uninsured. Please call 306-4900 to schedule an appointment.
