This is a chance for you to use recycled materials you have lying around and make something out of them! Your piece will be displayed at the Green Gallery, at the eco fair. People will learn to go green and have a deeper understanding of what you can do with the trash you produce by incorporating the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), leading to a greener and happier earth.
Make a project that promotes a greener earth! Your design can be an art piece made of recycled material or a science project that helps provide different options for being more mindful of our earth. Make something you feel needs to be represented or shown to people and raise awareness for those factors!

These are student-designed prototypes that aims to divert organic waste from our waste stream and convert it into organic fertilizer for our trees on campus.
The CAC Green Team initiated a pilot project to experiment with hydroponics as a way to grow fresh food here on campus to be used by our food vendors.
MS Community Service studied the SDG's and in particular sustainable fashion. We looked at the environmental and economic problems fast fashion causes. We used recycled clothing and other materials to make recycled outfits. The attached link is for the slideshow of the showing
In Community Service, students have studied plastic waste and its impact on the environment. Students looked at short and long term solutions to the problem as well as other social and economic concerns and their impact on the environment. To this end, we have planned and developed a large-scale installation that raises awareness for these problems.
Turning Food Scraps into Soil: The Power of Clay Composting
🪴 How Our Clay Composter Works
It has 3 levels – like a stack of bowls!
🍎 Top Tier – Add Food Scraps
• Put in fruit peels, veggie scraps, and leaves.
• Tiny air holes help things break down.
🐛 Middle Tier – Let It Break Down
• The old scraps move down here.
• Tiny bugs and time help turn it into soil!
🌱 Bottom Tier – Finished Soil!
• Now it’s healthy compost!
• We can use it to help plants grow.
