Target Setting and Study Timetable
The aim of our revision bulletins is that you can further understand how to support your child in their revision for upcoming exams.
This bulletin will focus on target setting and creating a revision timetable to help structure your child's study time.
Your child will have begun the target setting process with their form teacher in school.Â
It would be very helpful to discuss these targets with your child and evaluate whether they are aspirational and achievable.
There are many benefits to using a study timetable. Here are just a few:
1. Increased productivity: A study timetable can help your child to be more productive by helping them to focus on one task at a time and to avoid distractions.
2. Improved time management: A study timetable can help your child to manage
their time effectively by showing them how much time you have to study each subject and by helping them to plan ahead.
3. Reduced stress: A study timetable can help your child to reduce stress by taking
the guesswork out of studying and by giving them a sense of control over
your workload.
4. Improved grades: Students who use study timetables tend to get better
grades than those who do not. This is because they are more likely to stay
on top of their work and to be well-prepared for exams.
