Point at a cell for a student's assignment. Click More (three dots) > View Submission
i) Add marks out of a maximum of 100 directly to the Markbook (or when viewing the submission -see above)
ii) Click Return (see above) and add mark including a Private Comment if desiredÂ
OR enter all marks on the Markbook (draft form) and click on the three dots at the top of the column and select Return all to return all results at the same time
Automatic mark calculations for each student can be set up in Markbook if desired. There are two options:
Average marks are called Total Points
Weighted Scores - weights can be assigned to different assignments giving an overall score e.g. Test 1=25%, Test 2=25 %, Essay=50%.
Mark Calculations/Grading Systems are set up via the Classroom Settings cog
Go to the Class Settings page > Mark Calculation
Next to Overall Grade Calculation, select either Total Points or Weighted by category
Enable show overall mark to student if desired
Click on Add mark category and add the assignment/test names and score and repeat as required
Save (top of screen)
