Our Aim
The aim of our revision bulletins is that you can further understand how to support your child in their revision for upcoming exams.
Knowledge organisers are a summary of the key facts and essential knowledge that pupils need about a unit of work or a curriculum subject.
They should include information broken down into easily digestible chunks.
A good knowledge organiser needs to include all the key information about the topic you are learning about. A well-crafted knowledge organiser should include a combination of the following features, depending on the subject:
Key dates, people, quotations, themes, actions or timelines laid out in a logical, easy to follow sequence.
A glossary of key vocabulary or terminology, accompanied by definitions and examples.
Visual representations including photos, diagrams, charts, tables or maps.
Various colours, shapes or fonts to capture and emphasise key points.
