- Immediately follow the directions of the driver.
- Go directly to your seat, sit down facing forward and remain seated until it is your time to leave the bus. Movement while the bus is moving will not be tolerated. Students are permitted to move up or to another seat when the bus is completely stopped at bus stops only, not at stop lights or signs.
- Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself at all times.
- Keep voice level at at normal to quiet talking level and use appropriate words.
- No fighting, harassment, intimidation or horseplay.
- No tobacco, drugs or weapons are allowed on the bus at any time.
- The eating of food, gum chewing, and pop are NOT ALLOWED on regular routes. Bottled water is acceptable.
- Do not throw any object in the bus or outside the bus.
- Do not damage the school bus or its contents.
- Ask driver for permission to lower windows. Windows may not be lowered more than three notches.
Behavior is something that can be taught and learned. As a partner in your child's education, we are asking that you have conversations with your children about the importance of doing the right thing on the bus and obeying the safety rules we have in place. Thank you!
