Our students will leave Byron to live and work in a complex economy. We are preparing them for a workplace and a home that is technologically oriented, which will demand workers and parents who can use higher order thinking skills. Jobs and life, in general, will require people who can solve problems, understand complex terminology, communicate clearly, and make sense out of rapidly changing information. Life itself will demand higher levels of literacy in all areas.

Technology Plan

The purpose of the 2019-23 Future Ready Technology Plan is to provide a vision for the use of digital tools and resources as a means to personalize learning and develop Future-Ready students. Further, this plan articulates goals and objectives necessary to support a transformed digital learning environment and advance our District’s Mission, Vision and Priorities.

Technology Committee

Our District Technology Committee promotes the use of technology to increase efficiency of district operations and to support teaching and enhance student learning.

Technology Team

Our technology team works to support the district's operational and educational goals by providing high levels of reliability, service, and support.

We support our educators and students in a variety of training opportunities on our existing and/or new technology via staff meetings, 1:1 coaching, blended/online resources, and Just In Time (JIT) sessions.
