We value real jobs that we can do to not only learn important work skills but also to help our community. During the 2020-2021 school year, due to Covid-19 safety measures, we were not able to go out into the community to complete the jobs we traditionally love doing. At the same time, Mrs. Woodhouse received some award money from Special Olympics Minnesota and then also applied for the Byron Community Impact Grant with Mr. Bernards. With this extra time and money, we started Bear Notes.

Bear Notes is a business partnership between our class, who makes and sells all of the notepads, and Mr. Bernards' classes, who help with the business side. Our logo was made by Brendan Bouchie in Mrs. Bordelon's Art as a Small Business class.
