Sixth Grade Math and Advanced Math

Hello Parents and Students!

My name is Savannah Brown and I am a sixth grade Math teacher here at Big Walnut Intermediate School and the Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Big Walnut High School. I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education and a Master's in Technology from Walden University. This is my eighth year at Big Walnut. I am thrilled to work with you all this year. I know its going to be great! Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. CLASS SYLLABUS

Math 6

This class is designed around the sixth grade Ohio Content Standards for Mathematics. It will cover everything from basic arithmetic skills to solving algebraic equations and inequalities. This class will help students extend their thinking and build upon their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Advanced Math 6

This class is designed around the sixth grade Ohio Mathematics Standards to challenge students to extend their thinking and build upon their critical thinking and problem solving skills. The pace is accelerated with various cooperative, project-based learning opportunities.
