Junior Lacrosse goalie Caroline Weber breaks school record for career saves, surpassing over 400 saves during her time on the team.

On April 4, Caroline hit her 400th career save during the fifth game of the season, and her 46th save of her junior, 2023 season.

Weber earned 152 saves during her freshman season and 203 saves during her sophomore season. This put her 5th in the state record book. As of now, Weber has 486 career saves in goal as a junior.

Weber is only 70 saves away from reaching the all-time Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) record. BWHS Athletic Director Brian Shelton wrote, "With the rest of the 2023 season still to be completed and Caroline only being a junior, the all-time OHSAA career record saves (556) is well within her reach."

Weber said, "I like the Lacrosse program because of the environment we have created." Weber added, "All of the girls are so fun to be around and we constantly lift each other up."

"This program has given me the opportunity to showcase who I am as a player and a teammate and I am very thankful."

Weber has tons of friends and family cheering for her at every game.

According to Weber, these people have helped Weber through her high school years: ¨"Coaches Steve Palmer, Kayla Robinson, and Aubrey Louge."

Weber added, "Coach Kayla Robinson has been the key to my success throughout my high school years."
