Reading Brings Us Together!
Congratulations to Megan Joseph for pulling together 105 LES fifth graders and 50 of our LMS eighth graders for a literature discussion on a grand scale in the library yesterday!
The space was packed, every available seat taken and overflowing onto the Prow with small group, multi-aged discussions of "A Long Walk to Water & To Kill a Mockingbird." Student conversations about universal themes, symbolism and social justice were authentic with text references. Very inspiring to hear.
It was a day to remember and a new tradition for us at LMS!
