New Vista 1:Web

Dear New Vista High School Community,

I am pleased to share that beginning January, 2017, 9th and 10th grade students at New Vista will each receive a Chromebook as a part of the 1:Web Chromebook Initiative. The Boulder Valley School District selected New Vista to continue this important 1:Web Chromebook initiative, as a result of our school’s current innovative instructional approaches and our thoughtful exploration of expanding learning opportunities within the classroom and beyond. In addition to 1:Web Chromebooks for 9th and 10th graders, all Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to either purchase a new Chromebook, or borrow one of ours. We are committed to putting these powerful learning tools in the hands of all of our students. With the opportunity for individual web access, students will increase communication, expand collaboration, ask new questions, and create new solutions. The 1:Web Chromebook Initiative will further New Vista’s mission to to educate, support, nurture and challenge every student by building strong relationships in a unique and equitable educational setting.
