Coach Johnson's Website
About Me: This will be my 9th year at Platt/Choice. I am very lucky to work at such a great school. I love the staff, admin and community here at Platt/Choice. I received my Bachelors degree from Metro State University in K-12 Physical education and I am currently finishing up my Masters degree for Sports Administration and Coaching.
I was born in Minnesota but moved to the area right before Kindergarten. I love this area and plan on raising my family here but for me, there is no better place than on a lake in Minnesota. When I am not teaching/coaching I love spending quality time with my family. I am married to, Suzy, who is a PE teacher at Fireside Elementary in Louisville and we have a 8 year old named Duke, a 6 year old named Callahan, and an adorable golden retriever named Frankie. When I do get some alone time (which is rare with two kids) I love to watch movies and keep up with different sporting events. I am a huge Green Bay Packers and Univ. of Colorado Buffs fan!
I am so looking forward to a wonderful year with the students and community here at Platt/Choice. I can only hope that I will inspire students to lead a healthy lifestyle.
