My passion is teaching French and Spanish to young people and encouraging my students to have a life- long interest in world languages and cultures. I'm enjoying teaching French 1A/1B here at Platt and am also teaching a section of Spanish 1A this year.

Prior to teaching here, I taught French at private high schools in Texas and Colorado, and also at the college level in Texas. I have a Masters in French from the University of North Texas.

I have also taught Spanish at the high school level. I learned Spanish in the sixties and seventies when BVSD required its students to take Spanish each year, starting with first grade and ending with the junior year in high school.

I enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for nineteen years. Prior to that, I was a Fortune 500 lender for a Canadian bank. I also has a BS in Marketing and a Masters in Business from CU Boulder.

My husband Jim and I have two grown children.
