BLUE STICKER ZONE
by Roald Dahl
The main character Sophie is an orphan that late at night is snatched away from her bed by a tall black figure. The figure reveals itself as a giant, but he is not so big, and he is very friendly. Sophie calls him the BFG for big friendly giant. I loved Roald Dahl's idea on “snozzcumbers” a kind of vegetable that only the BFG eats. The giants love a drink called frobscottle, and the bubbles float down which result in a far rather nastier ending than a belch. At night the BFG goes dream catching. One night, Sophie is willing to go with the BFG to dream country, while they are at dream country,Sophie catches a trogglehumper (nightmare). After dream catching, the trogglehumper is used in a plan to save England.
The character Sophie changed throughout the book. How? First she doesn't appreciate how and why the BFG took her; she just wants to go back to the orphanage. But later she starts to grow fond of the BFG and starts to help him pronounce words like human beings and not “human beans”. Then in the end they become the best of friends.
The BFG was a small but mind blowing book. The book had a lot of sad and funny moments but the end was my all time favorite part of the book.
It had exciting scenes that make you feel like you were actually in the story.
The way Roald Dahl describe the relationship between the BFG and Sophie was extravagant! I would totally read the book again and recommend it to family and friends. - BM

In the book Double Fudge by Judy Blume, one of the main characters Fudge loves money and wants to buy the world! So he makes his own “Fudge Bucks”. Then their world turns upside down when they meet their long-lost relatives the Howie Hatchers. They have to deal with twin sisters and a younger cousin named Farley Drexel Hatcher - just like Fudge!
My favorite character was Mini, also known as Farley Drexel Hatcher, because he looks up to Fudge. Also he wants to be Fudge when he grows up! I love this book because it has a lot of action and will make you laugh! You won’t want to put it down!
This book has the New York Times Best-Selling Author Judy Blume! Double Fudge is the 3rd book in the series. Besides this series will inspire you to read more of these books!
This book made me think of family in a different way than others. Even though you don't like someone in your family you still love them deep in your heart. - DR

The book “I Even Funnier” is a super funny book that talks about how a 12 year old boy pushes through rough times. As Jamie goes through 6th grade he experiences bullying and drama. Jamie takes a “step” forward from becoming the funniest kid comic in New York to the funniest kid comic in all of America. “I Even Funnier” is a great book because you can relate and express your feelings, One example is that Jamie lost his family and the use of his legs in a car crash, this makes readers feel sorry and sad for Jamie, but don’t worry Jamie has people to support him, for example Frankie, his uncle. Young readers should read and feel the magic of this book because it gives a message saying, don’t give up no matter what!
