DOES FAST PACED MEDICAL CARE GRAB YOUR ATTENTION?

This one semester course provides students with training as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). It replaces First Responder in accordance with the National EMS Scope of Practice Model. Emergency Medical Responders are trained to provide immediate and initial care while awaiting the arrival of EMS response and also assist personnel with higher level training at the scene of an incident. EMR's receive basic training in the following general areas: Airway and Breathing Care, Medical, Cardiac Care, and Trauma Care.
