Mrs. Chynoweth is thrilled to be a BVSD Teacher Librarian. Mrs. Chynoweth grew up in Missouri, Colorado, and Ohio. She received her Bachelors of English Education at Ohio University. She taught general and college prep English at Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio, before moving back to Colorado in 1999. Mrs. Chynoweth met her future husband the day she arrived back in Colorado, and she worked a number of years in the private sector. She was a course developer for eCollege and a corporate trainer for both Global Crossing as well as Liberty Savings Bank. Once she started her family, Mrs. Chynoweth received her Masters of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. She started working as a Teacher Librarian at BVSD in the fall of 2007. The best part of her job is seeing how stories help kids grow. She lives in Louisville with her husband, daughter, and a cat she doesn't understand.
Mrs. Weingartner is excited about joining the Angevine staff as a Teacher Librarian this year! She started as a classroom teacher and then stayed at home with her kids for many years. Since then she has earned a Master's Degree in Children's Literature and an endorsement in both Teacher Librarianship and Literacy and Language for Diverse Learners. She is loving being back in education as a Librarian. Angevine stands out as a positive, inclusive, diverse community - dedicated to both academic and social-emotional growth. That is exactly the school culture she wants to be part of. As a parent of three teenagers herself, she understand how complex and transformative the middle school years can be. She is excited to walk alongside students during this important time and to help empower them as learners.
She lives in Thornton with her husband Zack, her kids Zane, Emerson, and Smith and her dog, Ruby. She enjoys watching her daughter play volleyball and son play baseball and basketball. She also like to read, walk, drink coffee, and explore book stores and thrift stores for fun.
