I am a senior deeply involved in a variety of organizations both on and off my high school campus. In school, I spend my time supporting the student council in the role of vice president, Tri-M (Music Honors Society) as an officer, Thespians and NEHS (National English Honors Society) as publicity officer, NHS, director for the middle school shows, and PAC by helping Freshmen acquaint to the school community. Off campus, I work as a summer counselor, election judge, member of Broomfield Teen Council, and captain of Lafayette Ultimate. I am empowered to encourage passion for those I work with and find each spark which allows people to find joy. Through communication, diversity of ideas, and the love for what I do, I plan to continuously find success for myself and those I meet.
Next fall, I will be continuing my education at Haverford College. There, I will study political science and economics, likely followed by a career based in legal studies. As I continue in this field, leadership, and the understanding of leadership, is paramount. This year, through the class of Leadership at Peak to Peak, I've capitalized on opportunities to manage major changes in several organizations which I had, namely student council. As I work through my leadership journey, I find education to be a major point of interest and I've dedicated myself to learning more about different leadership styles and how I can improve both myself, those around me, and the organizations/groups I work to lead.
