At BV Inspecting, we employ only the most detail oriented former tradesman. Our inspectors are equipped with exceptional training, extensive experience, and top of the line tools to catch every important detail. Rest assured knowing BV Inspecting requires every inspector to be certified by InterNACHI, the gold standard when it comes to home inspection certification.
We know what a significant and daunting purchase a home can be, and we want to make sure you know exactly what you are buying before you reach the closing table. For that particular reason, we believe that looking over the home with a fine tooth comb is the best way to help our clients avoid costly unforeseen repairs in the future.
Starting outside the home, our inspectors will inspect the lot, drainage paths, utilities, and exterior facade and roof of the home. If there are outbuildings or fences, those will also be inspected before the inspector enters the home. Upon entering the home, our inspectors will put on shoe covers and let you know what to expect and how long they believe the inspection to take, then they will carry out the inspection. The interior inspection will start with a visual inspection of walls, windows, doors, and vents, then continue into an in depth look at the homes operating systems, foundation, insulation, electrical components, appliances, and fixtures.
Our inspectors use Spectora reporting software, which means that your report will be over 80% complete when they leave the home, and are often available for you to view the same day.
