This past week, in Chapel, we talked about how David gave God the glory for the defeat of Goliath. When the rest of the Israelite army saw David give God the glory and God won the victory, they all trusted God to give them victory over the Philistines. What a beautiful picture of trusting God and giving Him the glory!

This weekend, take a moment as a family to ask each other, "How can we give glory to God this week?" Or "What is one way my faith in God might encourage someone else?"

4th-6th will have chapel from 9:15am-9:45am every Friday.

Kindergarten will have chapel from 10am-10:25am every Friday.

This year our theme is "David - Shepherd, King, Servant". This year we will be studying the life of David in Scripture. Our theme verse is 1 Samuel 13:14, "But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” As we spend time in God's Word, the Bible, together this year, we will be asking one driving question, "Who sits on the throne in your heart?" It's my desire, as your Campus Pastor, to help lead our students, families and staff into ensuring it is God who sits on the throne in our hearts.
