If you are experiencing technical issues with your district issued iPad, please contact the IT Department at 760-252-5174.
The IT Department will determine if it is best to perform a full, iPad reset. Below are the instructions to do this.
The following instructions are for resetting (wiping) student iPads.
1. Tap the Settings Icon
2. Scroll to and tap “Reset”.
3. Tap “Erase All Content and Settings”.
4. Tap “Erase” When pop-up appears, then tap “Erase” once again when asked to continue.
5. The iPad will begin to erase.
6. When presented with Hello, press the “Home” button, then choose “English”.
7. For Country or Region, select “United States”.
8. At the Quick Start page, choose “Set Up Manually".
9. At Choose a Wi-Fi Network, press your desired network and enter the credentials when prompted.
10. At the Remote Management page, choose “Next” on upper-right corner.
11. At the Sign In pop-up, enter student ID number and password of your student and press “Go”. **Please note, you may be passed back to the Hello Screen. If this happens, simply choose language and region settings again, and the iPad will continue its configuration.
12. At the Location Services Screen, press “Enable Location Services”.
13. At this point, please allow the iPad 20-30 minutes, depending on your internet speeds,to load all applications and services.
IF presented with a pop-up for Proxy Requirements, please tap “Not Now”. After 30 minutes has passed, when pressing the Home Button, you should be presented with this background, meaning your iPad should be ready to go!
