iPads use wireless technology and will need a Wi-Fi connection to connect to the internet. They do not plug into an internet or ethernet cable. For assistance with your Wi-Fi name and password you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider. To connect to Wi-Fi please use the following instructions
Connecting iPads to Wi-Fi Networks
1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
2. Tap the name of the secure Wi-Fi network you want to join.
3. If your network is secured, enter the password for the secure Wi-Fi network, then tap Join. If you can't tap Join, the password you've entered is incorrect.
After you join the network, you'll see a blue check mark next to the network and the solid WiFi symbol in the upper-left side of your display or the upper-right corner on an iPhone X and later.
Some of the iPads distributed will come up with a 'Proxy Authentication Required' prompt. At this point:
1. Click ‘Settings’
2. Another dialogue will pop up asking for credentials.
4. Enter the password that you received from the school district at the beginning ofthe year. This is the same password as the student’s Google password.
