This will be my Fifth year teaching elementary students. I completed my Masters of Elementary Education degree at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona in 2017. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ministry from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Texas in 2001.

My Family: I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have enjoyed spending our lives together now for over 42 years. We live here in Sells Arizona where we also serve as the Senior Pastor's of the Papago Assembly of God Church.

We have three grown children and four grandchildren. My wife “Judy” is also an Elementary teacher here at the Primary School and teaches our youngest students in her "Pre-K"Class.

My Youngest daughter Ms. Amanda Helt is a 9th and 10th grade High School Teacher, and she teaches English Language Art (ELA) lessons to her students here in the Baboquivari School District.

I am a Honorably Discharged Army Veteran having served twelve years on active duty as a Surgical Technician. Judy and I love to take our grandchildren with us when we go on our vacations, and we both love to spend time at the beach.

I enjoy reading, gardening, woodworking and Kayaking in quiet waters. I enjoy hiking, working in my woodshop and I hope to buy and spend many summers sailing my small sailboat during our future summer breaks.
