Hello my name is Carl Matthies. I am a 2007 Graduate of Burton High School. I attended Blinn College for 2 years, and transfered to Texas A&M University and graduated in 2011.  I began teaching here in Burton in 2013 and I have loved every minute of it. My wife Katie and I have two girls Emma and Ayla. I love this community and I am very dedicated to making Burton ISD the best place for your child to receive an education.
