Bucco Highlights

Newspaper is a product-oriented course taught by Mrs. Shaffer.  Its goal is to create and publish a minimum of four online newspaper issues. Training on writing in journalistic style and layout are taught as part of the course. All editors are selected from this class. Students’ grades will be based on quality of work and the ability to meet deadlines. Additional grades will be based on participation in all stages of the publishing process. Students must have a commitment to the school paper and willingness to cover stories and take pictures with the non-biased coverage of all school news, functions, and activities. The number of students included in the course will be limited.
