Phase 1:
26 new Google Chromeboxes replaced the Gateway desktop computers.
A collaborative computer work station has been set up.
Out-dated books were discarded from our collection. Some went to the local public library, and some were given to teachers to add to their classroom libraries.
The 4 long, free-standing bookshelves have been removed to create a more open space. The bookshelves will be put to good use by a local Boy Scouts Troop.
2 new interactive boards and projects have been installed.
All of the dingy carpet has been ripped out.
The circulation desk has been ripped out.
The wooden computer desks have been ripped out.
All 20 Windows desktops were reinstalled in the Library - and are all connected to the printer.
Phase 2:
New library furniture arrived an is set up for student use.
New plants have been donated to "green" up the library.
16 new Google Chromebooks have arrived and are ready for student use.
A new cell phone charging station is set up for student and teacher use.
