The Ship

Meeting up under the Friday Night Lights is the perfect way to end the school week. Every Friday, all day, the buzz around the football game gets everyone ready for another amazing win for the Bucs. But whether we win or lose, our Student Section knows how to keep the vibes up and have a good time. This year's Ship is led by Seniors Macky Bennis, Dylan McKallip, Chantz Watkins, and Nico Zanella. Some of this year's favorite chants include, "Bullship," "Walk the Plank!" and "That way...." and cheering the names of the players. Ship Leader, McKallip says one of his favorite parts of each game is when Senior Brayden Luke gets everyone rowdy by playing "Mary Had a Little Lamb." McKallip states, "He's him." Senior Nadia Nee says, "My favorite part of the games is when we do the "rollercoaster" and we're all locked in together." This year's themes are Hawaiian/Beach, Neon, USA, White Out, Black Out, and Pink Out. Student participation each week always impresses, and some students go all out.
