Mini Cheer Camp

Little Shouts, Big Hearts!

Stunt, Cheer, Go! On Friday, September 15th, the Burrell Varsity Cheerleaders hosted the Mini Cheer Camp.  The Mini Cheer Camp is an experience like no other. All  Burrell Kindergarten through 5th grade students get an opportunity to sign up and participate in cheering at a Friday night football game. Two nights out of that week the girls practice from 5:30-7 to get them ready to cheer under the big lights. The crowd also loves seeing the extra school spirit from these little girls. Their smiles are truly irreplaceable.

Freshman Morgan Cromer enjoyed her time at the min cheer camp! "During mini cheer camp, I discovered that the tiniest stars can shine the brightest with a little guidance and a lot of spirit." Sophomore Sadie Brown add that she believes the girls can reach their full potential, "Kids are tough especially the one who cheer."

The Burrell Cheerleaders enjoy participating in this event every year and love keeping this tradition alive.
