Zoo Field Trip

Environmental science class takes on the Pittsburgh Zoo

Ms. Zolocsik is took her Environmental Science class to the Pittsburgh Zoo on Wednesday May 3rd. The goal of the trip was to learn about the life of different animals and their habitats from all around the world. One of the Seniors that went on this, Kwade Kirchartz said, “It was fun, and very exciting to see all the animals in their different habitats with my friends.” Senior Colton Fenoglietto had a very different experience, “ I FaceTimed my girlfriend while I was there. I also saw a rhino, and tried to catch a fish with my hands.” 

As you can see both students had very different experiences, but were both able to learn the same thing. I think all students should take this trip, that is in the class, as it really goes in depth from all the lessons that are taught. And brings them all together.
