On a snowy Tuesday in November (the 15th to be exact), the high school's Reading Railroad club took a trip down to Bon Air Elementary. Until the end of the school day, the high schoolers read and even acted out Thanksgiving themed books for the children grades K-3. The high schoolers enjoyed this experience as they got to be back in their old school once again. “It was great to be back there again,” stated Sophomore Lorin Pavlik-Ware. After the high schoolers were done performing their storybook, they got involved in fun Thanksgiving festivities! The children had the option to play Thanksgiving BINGO or many other games. The Reading Railroad club then settled the snowy day with pizza and snacks!
