Every Friday night, the Buccos pack and rock The Ship! Although the student section is mainly home games, they have been known to pack a fan bus for away games as well! Each week has a theme, and they rock it! The Ship is led by Seniors Caden Canfield and Branson Jones with the help of the BuccoSports leaders, Seniors Morgan Fenoglietto and Cassidy O'Brien. All Burrell High School students are welcome to attend, but the Student Section Leaders kindly ask that the underclassmen climb the mast to the top of the bleachers so the seniors can rock it at the helm! The Student Section will also be at the winter sports games, so be sure to check them out when The Ship moves indoors!
Red Out
On Friday, September 23rd, fans, students, cheerleaders, and players dressed up in red to support Senior football player Nijere Floyd with his fight against sickle cell anemia. Nijere was born with this disease and has fought through it his whole life. Wristbands and shirts were sold in his honor. The game was against Yough, with touchdowns by Junior Devin Beattie x2, Junior Tristan Brothers, Senior Chase Fenner, and Senior Andrew Graztmiller. The Bucs won the game with a score of 42-6.

White Out
September 9th was our Battle of the Bypass game where we played the Valley Vikings, our biggest rival. For the fourth year in a row, the Bucs overpowered the Vikings. This game was a close one with an end score of 27-30. The fans, players, students, and cheerleaders headed back over to our home stadium and gathered by the flag pole to celebrate in the victory circle.

Beach Theme
A fabulous turnout at the first game of the school year with a packed Ship prepared to go overboard with excitement! This game’s student section was dressed head to toe in beachwear, hardcore focused in overtime, and so intense that HAIR WAS FLYING RIGHT OFF THE HEAD! For the first game of the season, Burrell's student section took a very interesting approach to school spirit. Senior Branson Jones cut Sophomore Jacob Anderson’s hair during the game to show the two's Bucco pride. Branson shaved Jacob's head completely bald!
When asked about her favorite part of the student section, Senior Layla Jefferies answered, “Seeing everyone come and support our team.” "Everyone" is not an exaggeration as there were SEAS of students that could hardly fit in one section of the stands, cheering on our team while a beach ball bounced through the crowd.
