Club Day

Club Day was held during AR on Friday, September 16 in Junior Court. Mr. Rossi was the organizer for the event this year. He said the goal of Club Day was “to allow all students the opportunity to see the various clubs and activities available to them here at Burrell High School.” There were a total of 24 clubs represented at the event, and they are listed to the right.

When Mr. Rossi was asked if Club Day worked as well as he hoped, he said, “Yes, the turnout and participation exceeded expectations.” His favorite display was Mr. Thome’s wooden figures as part of the Whittlin’ Club’s display. Students who join Mr. Thome’s club have the chance to learn how to whittle and carve wood by repeatedly cutting small slices from it. There really is a perfect club for everyone at BHS!
